Smart Card Operated Water ATM Machine

System Description:

The system comprises of state of the art technology, IP65 panel mounted Water ATM controller, internally mounted Flow Sensor, a 12 VDC (230VAC optional)solenoid valve and suitable piping with convenient external inlet and outlet connections. Water ATM controller has a 2.8 inch LCD display along with 5 nos. of programming keys. This facilitates selection and navigation through the menu driven setting options. The controller also features built in RFID reader/writer, Real Time Clock, Pulse type Flow Sensor interface, control output for Solenoid Valve. 

Automation Philosophy:

The Proton Automatic Dispenser, delivers water to an individual by his placing the RFID card (Smart Card) on the Proton ATM Controller on the dispenser panel. Controller opens the solenoid valve to dispense a set batch of water Automatic Dispensing Machine provides for initialising a set of RFID cards and then charging them with an amount to be spent for getting a predefined batches of water. An RFID card can be initialised from the Proton Water ATM controller. A set of RFID cards can be initialised so that they are recognised by a particular set of Proton ATM Controllers only. Thus avoiding inter vendor usage. An individual card then can be charged with an amount in Rupees through the Proton ATM controller. On receiving a batch of water from the Dispenser, an amount set per batch is deducted from the RFID card, as soon as it is presented to the controller. The controller notifies if the water level in the feed tank is low or if the charge left in the card is inadequate. The controller has an auto calibration function, where a unit batch (1 litre) can be calibrated with the help of known capacity containers of 1, 2 ,5 , 10 or 20 litres. Controller stores the data of amount of water dispensed and total charges made, date wise for a period of month.

KEY FEATURES :-

  • L1 : Green LED. Blinks when the controller is ready to dispense by Smart card. Glows steadily when dispensing is in progress.
     
  • L2 : Red LED. Glows when Smart card balance is insufficient. Also a message displayed on LCD screen.
     
  • L3 : Red LED. Glows when Tank Empty condition is sensed by the water tank float switch (floaty) connected to the controller. If the Tank Empty check is selected as “no”, then this LED will not glow.
     
  • K1 : Key to scroll up the menu options / setting options .
     
  • K3 : Key to scroll down the menu options
     
  • K2 : Key to return to earlier menu / home screen
     
  • K4: Key curser to right shift while selecting parameter values to be set. Pressing this key for few seconds, menu options are displayed for various parameter settings.
  • K5: Key to set / enter the selected parameter. Also pressing this key for few seconds, menu to “View Balance” and “Charge Card” options is displayed.

Industrial RO Control Panel

PROTON Industrial RO control panel provides for very convenient mounting and easy field cable terminations. Removable terminals blocks are provided for easy terminations. Different sizes of terminals are selected for process and power connections to avoid wrong connections. The industrial RO control panel is based on state of the art technology processor. It has 6 digital inputs and four outputs. It also has Conductivity and Flow (pulse type) Sensor inputs. It can be set for Manual pre-treatment operation or Automatic pre-treatment operation. On powering the controller it checks for Raw Water Tank (RWT) level and the Treated Water Tank (TWT) level. On receiving signals that the RWT is not empty and TWT is not full, it starts up the Raw water Pump (RWP). A Low Pressure Switch (LPS) check the pressure developed at the suction of HPP. On receiving the signal that pressure is developed (LPS) at the suction of High Pressure Pump (HPP), it opens the Flush (reject) Solenoid valve for a settable time, ensuring slow flush. After this, the HPP is started for a settable time ensuring fast flush. At the end of this time Flush Solenoid valve is closed and RO is started/operational. The controller continuously checks the pressure (LPS) at the HPP suction. Should it fall, a message is displayed with an LED indication on the front panel. After a settable delay if this condition prevails, the RO is shut with a message on the LCD screen. The system can be restarted only with activation of the Start key or Power reset. If during RO in operation; - RWT empty signal is received, both the pumps stop immediately with a message on the LCD, and an LED indication for RWP level. RO can be restarted on activating Start key or Power reset. - TWT full signal is received, a flush sequence is carried out and then both the pumps stop with a message on the LCD screen and an LED indication. Once TWT full signal goes off, Slow and Fast flush sequence is initiated and RO starts. - High Pressure switch (HPS) activation is received, both the pumps stop immediately with a message on the LCD, and an LED indication for HPS. RO can be restarted on activating Start key or Power reset. - Conductivity value exceeds set High level, a message is displayed till the time value is between High and Very High Limits set. If the Conductivity value exceeds the Very High limit set, both the pumps stop immediately with a message on the LCD. RO can be restarted on activating Start key or Power reset. - Any electrical faults at RWP and / or HPP such as Overload, Dry Run, Over Voltage, Under Voltage the RO stops after the set trip values and

TDS / Conductivity Meter and sensor

User can select measurements either conductivity or TDS . Pressing SET key will change the controller from run mode to set mode. In the set mode user can select conductivity or TDS measurements. After the selection set menu shows setting for the same. User can change the following parameters using INC/DEC key and SET key. If conductivity/ TDS goes beyond the High alarm set point Display will show C-HI/t-HI Message. And if conductivity goes beyond the Conductivity High set point then Relay will trip. Sense time is provided for relay to trip.
